This blend of 62% chardonnay 19% Pinot Noir and 19% Pinot Meunier is very classy, the mousse is super, a stream of small long lasting bubbles, aromas of almond biscuits, vanilla and orange citrus abound on the nose and the smooth inviting palate.
Nyetimber Blanc de Blanc 2001 at £28.50 100% Chardonnay and once again here we find a superbly formed mousse. Butter, vanilla, lemon, crisp green apple and hints of marzipan and caramel, very complex and stylish. This wine has just won a very special accolade.
