Tasting notes: Delicate, yes, but with succulent, bright aromas of ripe red berries with earthy tones on the palate. There are hints of dried fruit flavours and a gentle savoury note from the barrel ageing which gives this wine real depth of character and elegance. The fresh acidity is rounded out by a dusting of firm tannins which give that all-important structure and a long, lingering finish.
